Reclaim Your Smile with Durable Dental Implants – Experience Life with Confidence!

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots made of biocompatible materials such as titanium. They serve as a sturdy foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function just like natural teeth. Unlike dentures or bridges, which rely on neighboring teeth for support, dental implants stand independently in the jawbone.

Advantages of Dental Implants

Natural Look and Feel: Securely anchored for a realistic appearance, unlike dentures that can slip or click.

Durability: With proper care, implants can last a lifetime, unlike bridges and dentures that need frequent replacement.

Oral Health Maintenance: Prevents bone loss by stimulating new bone cell growth in the jaw.

No Damage to Neighboring Teeth: Implants stand alone without affecting adjacent teeth, unlike traditional bridges.

Diet Freedom: Enjoy all types of food without restrictions, unlike removable dentures.

Kathryn Rangel

Dental Hygienist

Hello, I am Kathy, the dental hygienist at Global Facial Aesthetics Dental. I started my dental career as a dental assistant, progressed to be a clinical coordinator, and then continued my education in Dental Hygiene at Kennedy-King College. I have been a Dental Hygienist for 22 years and enjoy providing my patients with the essential care needed to help them achieve optimal health.

My goal is to create a positive dental experience with compassion and care. I want my patients to be experts in caring for their beautiful smiles. I believe, with the dental knowledge I have accumulated throughout the years, I can help make that happen. Outside of dentistry, I have several other interests, but my top three are: being a Chicago Blackhawks fan, crafting, and spending time with my dog, Max.

Rose

Dental Staff

Hi, my name is Rose. I have been in the dental field for 30-plus years. I have worked in all aspects of the dental field. The last 10 years, I have primarily been on the insurance side. The first thing I notice about people is their smile. It’s amazing how far dentistry has come since I first started. Restoring a beautiful smile and chewing abilities to our patients makes me smile. I have been married for 33 years. I have two beautiful adult daughters. My husband and I are really enjoying this chapter of our lives.

Diana

Dental Assistant

I was born, raised, and married to Gary in Utah. I received training as a Dental Assistant at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. When we moved to Illinois for Gary to go to dental school, we had a one-year-old daughter. I worked as a Dental Assistant for one of the few dentists that were doing dental implants at the time. During Gary’s senior year, I had a baby boy. At this time, I became an “at-home mom” and had two more boys.

As the children were getting older, I decided to become a Dental Laboratory Technician. After two years’ training, I received an associate degree at Triton College and was blessed with a baby girl. I now have five children. I was able to work part time and have my own laboratory in my home. This allowed me to be home with my children and take them to school and other activities. I did this for about 10 years.
