Dr. Gary Alder, DDS, FAGD, DAAPM relocated from Dental at Group Rush University Medical Center in 2012 to establish Global Facial Aesthetics. We are a premier cosmetic dentistry practice serving people of all ages in River Forest, Illinois. Dr. Irene Skirius, DDS joined us in our transition. We offer a full range of services: traditional orthodontics and clear aligner therapy, dental implants, gum rejuvenation, facial rejuvenation, Fotona Laser surgery and rejuvenation and pain management, TMJ head and neck Pain management, crowns and veneers, CAD/CAM all porcelain restoration,in office and home teeth whitening, root canal treatment and many other dental and oral facial procedures.

Global Facial Aesthetics uses highly advanced technology, such as Prexion 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), Digital X-rays, and Fotona Laser in order to provide the best care and a comfortable experience.

About Our Practice

The skillful surgeons perform minimally invasive laser-assisted surgery in addition to traditional dental surgery, allowing for more comfortable procedures and faster recoveries. The specialists perform digitally guided root canal treatments and computer-guided dental implant procedures for ultimate precision and optimal outcomes.

The dental providers use computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), 3-D printing, and other advanced equipment to fabricate CEREC all-porcelain crowns, dental bridges, and more at our in-house laboratory.

I had not seen him for 7 years, and recently had an urgent need. He remembered me, which is incredible given the time lapse between appointments. He then squeezed me in for an appointment the next day to help me with my issue. Dr Alder and his team are wonderful. They provide a very thorough and streamlined service ! Kathy is the best! I get my teeth in top shape and always get a nice nap in the chair! No discomfort at all! its funny to think of a trip to the dentist as a way to get a nice nap but this is the case.
